"God Bless The USA" by Lee Greenwood
My July 4th festivities started on Tuesday night with the fireworks display put on by the city I live in. Threatened by storm clouds and rain drops, the show went on as planned. S and I sat on the lawn of the bank, he with his head covered by the blanket and I had everything but my head covered... LOL The $30K fireworks display was pretty good. With everyone leaving at the same time, it took us almost 40 minutes to get home... a trip that normally takes me 10 minutes.
On the 4th, we went to a BBQ at my parents' house. The food was excellent, as usual. I took homemade peach cobbler. I'm guessing it was good since I brought home an empty pan!

I LOVE that song!! Every time I see an American flag (which is alot) I think of this song.
