A Finish... and Memories

Quite a few of the finishes I've had this year, have memories attached to them. My latest finish: Gingerbread House, a stitch-n-hang kit by Needlemagic Inc. Earlier this year, I started this ornament while sitting in the hospital waiting room when my Dad has one of his procedures done. I finished it while sitting in the same waiting room (several months later) when he was having a different procedure done. It's stitched on 14ct plastic canvas with the most awful threads imaginable. If it weren't for the threads being so hard to work with, it would've been a more enjoyable piece to work on. I used 1/4" white ribbon and blue felt to finish it into an ornament.

Looks awesome very cute!!! Well done i will have to look for something like this as gingerbread houses have a special meaning to my childhood, my sisters used to make me one every year, as I was the youngest of 7.
