New Additions

I went back to Menards today because they had kitchen cabinet hardware on sale for 50% off. So, I thought I'd better take advantage of the sale since I've been wanting to change the hardware on my cabinets after I refinish them.




For the past month or so, every time I go to Menards my cart seems to get a mind of it's own and pulls me toward the mirror aisle. I've been like a kid in a candy store coveting a certain full length wall mirror. Today was no different. The cart was like a magnet... Right to the mirror aisle again. Imagine my surprise when I saw a big RED sign: 40% Off! I frantically searched through the full length mirrors that were left. Ahhh... There it was! I happily snatched it up.

One more thing to add to my DIY projects.

Here's a rough look at my room. The boxes on the far side are filled with stash. I have another 6 large boxes that isn't seen in the pic. I still need to put up my bedroom drapes. Those valances were left by the previous owner, along with a swag of daisies hanging above the bedroom door. Both need to go...
