Peace Love and a Cure

Peace Love and a Cure
Designer: Lizzie Kate
Fabric: 14ct off-white aida
Fibers: Six Strand Sweets
Time: 12.5 hours

NOTE: I changed the recommended DMC floss colors to colors of SSS. Some I changed entirely to what I liked, and others I tried to match as close as possible.

A fellow freecycler is a breast cancer survivor. Since she's given me a lot of produce over the past couple years, I thought this would make a nice "thank you" gift.

Very pretty, Meari!

Do you think you will stitch this again? If you are interested in a sale or trade, let me know! I'd like to do this one for a breast cancer survivor I know, too. :)

That turned out great Meari! I see that you found the pink ribbon fabric. :o) What a nice gesture to give it to a BC survivor. I'm sure it's going to mean a lot to her. So..... what are you working on now? :o)

I like that one. I might get it and change the colors to purple for pancreatic cancer. I have a friend who's dad pass from it and she has been going fundraising for it.

Nice job, I like the fact that the back part isn't as wide as the front. I am thinking I want to do that with the one I cut out at your house. I haven't gotten it done, but I have finished 2 projects and actually put them both together too! The flatfold is next on the finishing list!
