Did You Know?

... that in addition to my cross stitch addiction (Yes, I'm seeking help. *not*), I also collect porcelain dolls? Half the closet in my spare room is packed with my porcelain doll (and Barbie) collection.

While perusing at the local SA thrift store today, I came across porcelain dolls which are part of a Fairy Tale series. These photos definitely don't do them justice!

Cinderella/Wash Girl -and- Rapunzel

Goldilocks -and- Little Red Riding Hood

The details on these dolls are absolutely stunning!

Eyelashes and Jewelry

Basket with breadcloth and bread

Little sewn bears

You found them in a thrift shop? Wow, that is just amazing. They are obviously well made and above average. Congratulations on such a fabulous find.

I had no idea. They are beautiful. Good find for you.

I will keep my eyes open onthis end for you--you never know when I may run across a doll.

Do you ever display them??

Meari, I did know about your Barbies but I didn't know about the porcelain dolls! That's an addiction I have fought to avoid for years! I have been known to waste hours watching Marie Osmond on QVC and sitting on my hands to stop myself from making that first phone call! What a fantastic find for you!! They are stunning.

Oh my gosh!!! Lucky you! They are beautiful! I also collect porcelain dolls in addition to the cross stitching! I've had to put a stop on the purchasing of dolls though because I don't have anywhere to put them!
