Taxes, School, & Stitching... Oh my

Is it going to be a Terrific Tuesday? Let's hope so! My Monday was extremely busy at work (last week of tax season, ya know!) and then I had school stuff to do.

SCHOOL
My first test in International Business is this week. Just like my ethics class, there are only two tests the entire semester. To top it off, it's an online timed test. 68 questions. I found myself rushed to get the questions answered, but I managed to get them done in the alotted time. Now, I get to play the waiting game as to how I did...

STITCHY STUFF
I feel like I'm plodding along on ABC's as I haven't had but *maybe* 30 minutes of stitching time all of last week. Here's my progress:

Other WIP photos can be seen HERE.

I received a nice RAK (Random Act of Kindness) in the mail, but I'm not sure who it came from since there was no card or name on the envelope.

I do know it came from Australia, though. Recently, Felicity announced on her blog that I'd won a consolation prize, so maybe it's from her? Whoever, it was... Thank You!!

GARDENING
I pulled my hens & chicks out of the garage this weekend. They were a pretty purple and green color, and despite not being watered all winter they've burst out of the pot!

Good luck on the test - I'll bet you did really well. The fact that you got any stitching time in during this busy time for you is great - and all progress is good progress! Congrats on the RAK or prize - very nice. Love the plant!

I am amazed at you Hens and Chicks. They are gorgeous. How do they do that after not being watered all winter?

Those hens & chicks are beautiful! My grandmother had them in her yard, but I've never seen them bloom! I think I'm going to have to go get some.

I've never seen hen and chicks bloom. So pretty.

Nice prizes... fun to get somethings.

Don't work & study too much... love your humor...

Hens and Chicks are so pretty, don't think they would do well in out yard, too much shade. Like your RAK or consolation prize, it is nice. Prairie Schooler has nice patterns.

My hens and chicks were only ever green! How come your's are pretty? Do they come in different colors?

I am sure you did fabulous on your test but the waiting sucks! Amy had a stats test Monday. 58 questions and she finished in 15 minutes. Now she's panicked that she missed them all. You high achievers like to stress yourselves out, that's for sure!

I am sure you kicked ass on the test.

What a wonderful stitchy surprise in the mail.

Those plants (hens and chicks?) are looking great! Amazing for no watering. Funnily enough a strawberry plant that I had in a pot last winter has survived outside!! It has started to grow again ;)

Good luck on your test, don't you hate waiting. Some progress is better than none. Your chicks and hen are pretty.

I'm sure you'll receive a great grade on your test, Meari--you always do!

Love the hens and chicks--we used to have them at our first house, but I never saw them look as pretty as yours!

ABC is looking good!
Even if you feel that it's slow progress, any progress is better than none at all.

What a lovely RAK.

Thanks for the head's up on the needlearts survey! Love your hen & chicks! I used to have some but left them on the porch too late one fall. They did not like the frost! :o(

I'm sure you did well on the test. But I would have been stressed about it being timed too. Let us know how you did. Congrats on the RAK. I love the little girl kit. I hope it goes on your stitching list soon. Can't wait to see it complete. And just think - you survived another tax year. I think you should celebrate!!!!!

Your ABC's are great! I have the Aging Gracefully, but I am going to do something more colorful after LK Time for God before I dive into the alphabet.
Hens and chicks? I had heard of them, but never seen them. They are beautiful!

It's probably another win! LOL I have no doubt the test went well. My hens and chicks were in the garage all winter too and I just can't figure out how they survive! I imagine you are enjoying your sunroof with the recent warm temps. Carl has mowed 3 times already! I think I've been stitching about the same amount as you lately.
