Words of Christmas

For the HOE "Words of Christmas" ornament exchange, I stitched up Holiday Spirit by Robin of Samplerbird Stitchery. The ornament made its way to a new home with Kathy and Rory of NY. I really like this design, and it's the second time I've stitched it up. (The first one can be seen HERE.)

Design: Holiday Spirit
Designer: Robin at Samplerbird Stitchery
Fabric: 28ct Gray-Green Linen (brand unknown)
Fibers: Anchor, Kreinik Blending Filament
Embellishments: Gold Star Button, 1/4" Runched Ribbon

Oh Meari

I really love your new Le Jardín Pourpre (Purple Garden) SAL. It looks so beautiful and I really like your fabric in it too and just perfect floss colors too.

Your Christmas ornament looks really beautiful too

Great job as usual, Meari! Love the runched ribbon around the outside, too! I'm going to try that....if I ever get something finished that it will look right on! Congratulations on the finish! :-)))

Now that Yapoop isn't giving me fits (no, I'm not 100% sure it wasn't operator error either lol) I can finally post a comment. LOVE THIS!!! As always, your stitching and finishing is beautiful!

That's really pretty. I like how the finishing gives the impression of a tree shape.
