Cuppa Please?

A while back I picked up a small shelf that was scratched up and was in need of a little TLC.  I took it apart and filled the scratches.  A bit of paint...

and I have a beautiful display shelf for my teacup collection:

Cost Breakdown...  Shelf: $3.49, Expressso paint from my stash (love that color!), Silver paint from my stash, and a bit of labor.

  5. Well, you’ve done a great job on the shelf Meari, it looks totally different now it’s had a face lift. Loving you collection of cups too. They remind me of the bone china cup mum used it give me my coffee in when I was little.

  9. Just fabulous!! Love your cups - I was thinking of collecting tea cups for a while (on Ebay) until I saw the price of some of them - they are soooooo pretty tho.

Who would have thought to do that?!! Not me - not to taking it apart then putting it back together - I'd probably just spray paint the whole thing white - lol

  23. I swear girl! I am going to get you, your own tv show! I will think up a great name too....LOL.....the shelf is positively gorgeous. I am going to look up the cup, saucer, etc. I told you about. If I can locate it, I will bring it in October to MB so you can carry it home with you. You can wrap the pieces in your clothing to protect them!
