Again, I worked on the mailart pieces. I'm about half done with the front motif for the second mailart. No pics yet, cuz it's a soo-prise! Since I'm not showing pics of the mailart pieces I'm working on, I thought I'd share past mailart.
Here are one's I've received from Finland, Malaysia, Australia. The ones from Finland and Austrailia were actually sent through the postal system. As you can see, they arrived unscathed.

SCHOOL
To me, it seems this semester has drug on and on. I'm in Week 6 of 8, so in reality it has gone by pretty fast. Today is the start of registration for next semester. I'm really excited about this because it means only two more semesters (16 weeks + the remaining 3 of this semester!!) and I'll be done -- graduating with a BSBA, double major in accounting and finance. Woo Hoo!
Revised: Ack! I had the college do a degree audit and found out I actually have 3 semesters left. :( 2 more finance classes and 1 accounting class. Bummer.
The mail art is really lovely.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the 19 weeks will go fast for you BSBA!
Entertaining as always Meari! I loved the under sink clean out story! You had a LOT of stuff jammed in there... LOL
ReplyDeleteChristine
Love the mail art. Hope school feels better.
ReplyDeleteFantastic exchange. Love both envelopes.
ReplyDelete19 weeks is not that long, and then you're nicely finished and no school anymore. Crossing fingers here that time will fly for you.
I always find it a challenge to blog when working on "top secret" projects! What lovely mail art you've received int he past.
ReplyDeleteBummer about the extra semester. It will go by fast!

Shall we wait until school is finished?
Not that much longer now. Hang in there!

The Mail Art is beautiful. I have seen other stitchers do these and love it. Can't wait to see what you have done.
ReplyDeleteMeari,
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave this comment on your blog, but for some reason the comment part wouldn't come up to let me.
Anyway, what you received in the mail is very nice. It is a bummer that you have three semesters left instead of two, but the countdown is still very near. I am proud of you for doing college. Part of me wants to go back to school, I just haven't.
Lyn:)
Mailart is beautiful. Amazing it came through unscathed since I received many a letter in regular envelopes which look like they have been through a shredder! :)
