Since I've been doing the backstitching and French knots on Yuku off and on for most of last year, I'm considering this a finish as there is a LOT of FK's and BS'ing. Today, Yuku is officially done! Woo Hoo! Yippee! Yay!
This project belongs to Debby (no blog). She did all the X's and asked me if I'd be willing to do the backstitching and French knots in exchange for stash. Soon Yuku will be on her way back home.
First and foremost, what a great friend you are to do this for someone else, when you have plenty of your own things to finish. Truly an 'unselfish' act of kindness!!! :)
Yuku is a stunning piece! Kudos to Debbie for stitching her; and Kudos to Meari for doing the French knots and backstitch!!!
what an amazing piece of art! Such talent to do this, I like the idea of sharing the stitching. This is certainly a finished project to be proud of and show off!
Congratulations on the finish, Meari! I know you're happy to be done with French Knots for a while now! I love your Christmas Mail Art, too! You do beautiful work. No doubt Yuku's owner will be excited when she arrives home again.
