As I mentioned in my previous post, I shampooed my living room carpet. I have one of those Bissell ProHeat Steam Cleaners. Highly recommended - It does a great job. Only God knows when the last time the carpet was cleaned. The dirty water was disgusting! There was a big stain on it that had been there before I purchased the place. I was happy to see that it came out. Now I don’t have to cover it up with a box...LOL There are couple of small rust stains. Anyone know how to get out rust stains from carpet? I also finished putting up the living room and dining room drapes. It’s looking more and more like “home”.

I have had no luck with removing rust stains in the past, so I'm sorry that I don't have any advice to give on the subject.
