Snow Snow and More Snow!

On Friday, I had to shovel twice... Once before going to work, and again on my lunch hour. Then Friday night into Saturday morning (Christmas Eve), it snowed more! Here's what it looks like around here:

Front Yard

Back Yard

View of the south side of my street.

Notice the yard stick in the snow bank?
My poor shrubs... The one in the pic is about
48" tall and you can't even see it with all the
snow!

It wasn't so bad blowing and shoveling snow... while it was still snowing. Once it stopped snowing, the winds picked up which made it feel colder. Plus snow blew back into my face and onto my glasses. Do you know what it's like to try and blow snow with no glasses on? LOL

Merry Christmas Meari! Thank you, Thank YOU for the lovely card and scissor beaded fob. I LOVE IT!! As soon as I opened the cute little present I let out a shout. So pretty; it's on my scissors and hidden deep in my bag for fear the kids will want the "pretty" and grab it!!

You are such a smart girl: you understood how to get a winter workout without any expensive fees at the gym : you have snow !!! lol Will you be believe I now associate snow with you and last winter ? When I started to read about the snow storm across the US, I, of course, thought about you !!! ;-)

I want to wish a Merry Christmas full of family and ex BF love !!! lol ( couldn't help the joke, even on Christmas eve :-D )

Hi Meari -

Seems like we have seen these pictures before, I admire you for shoveling your drive and walk. Not sure I would do it. How is Celeste handling all the white stuff? BTW - Thanks for the lovely scissor fob it was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. I would have thanked you earlier but we have been crazy busy with retirement, graduation and now Chirstmas. I am looking forward to Dec 26.

Have a great holiday and try to take it easy.

Stopping in to wish you a Merry Christmas Meari and happy holidays!
Your snow looks like mine, haha! Your shrub should be well-insulated but it does make you wonder how they will fare....all of my plant babies are hidden too and newly planted this past summer. Hope they survive!

Oh, yes - you are much worse off than I am. (and I feel soooo bad about that!) hehe

Enjoy the snow!
