Appetizer: What are you proud of?

I am proud of many things! Proud that my parents raised 4 children to be productive, good people in society. Proud that my nieces are each unique and beautiful in their own ways. Proud that after much perseverance, I am finally getting a college degree!


Soup: What is the best thing you’ve ever won as a prize?

Recognition as a talented photographer. Otherwise, I don’t usually win anything.


Salad: Name something you do that is a waste of time.

Main Course: In what year of your life did you change the most?

There is not any one year that stands out where I dramatically changed. I’m constantly evolving, learning about myself, and changing (for the better, I think!).


Dessert: Where is a place you consider to be very tranquil?

Nature preserves, wooded areas... Just me, and the quiet sounds of nature.

Friday Feast 2/9/07

Appetizer
Have you been sick yet this winter? If so, what did you come down with?

*knock on wood* No, I haven’t been sick yet this winter. After I’d been with my niece one weekend, I received a call a couple days later that she was diagnosed with strep throat. I called my Dr. asap to see if I could get antibiotics since my niece used my inhaler and then I used it. I also called D to tell him he might want to consider giving his Dr. a call. He said he’d take his chances… Well guess what? He got strep!

What colors dominate your closet?

I have the basic colors… Black, red, white. There’s some others, but mostly those three.

How would you describe your “comfort zone”?

I’m a planner and a list maker. I don’t like to be pushed to do things until I’m ready. Being forced into situations takes me out of my comfort zone.

On which reality show would you really like to be a contestant?

I don’t need to be on a reality show. My life has had enough drama in it without my adding a reality show.


Dessert
Which holiday would you consider to be your favorite?

Probably Christmas because the entire family gets together. Of course, the decorations and presents are nice too.

What comes to mind when you see the color orange?

Two things. First, it reminds me of sunshine… round and bright, like the sun. Second, it reminds of me of pumpkins and jack o’ lanterns at Halloween.

Did you ever get into trouble when you were in school? If so, what was it for?

Yes, twice that I remember. The first time was 4th or 5th grade on the playground. A bunch of us were pretending to have a wedding. We got into trouble when the bride and groom got caught kissing. The second time, I was in 9th grade art class. My friend and I were talking and laughing while working on our art projects – apparently not to the teacher’s liking. We both were reprimanded and our names were put on the board.

Which topping(s) make up your perfect pizza?

I’m not really picky when it comes to pizza. As long as there aren’t anchovies are something nasty like that, it’s all good.

Do you believe in UFO’s, aliens, etc? Why or why not?

LOL, my mother is an alien… errr, I guess the politically correct term would be immigrant. UFO’s to me are UnFinished Objects… and yes, I have a few. So yes, Virginia I believe.

What color is your bedspread/comforter/quilt?

A combination of tan, beige and offwhite.

Have you ever flown in a helicopter?

No, but I think it'd be pretty interesting. The closest I've come is an airplane, and I had a window seat.

Soup
What color is your warmest coat or jacket?

Black. It's a leather jacket with a removable thermal liner for colder seasons. I've had it for four years, and it keeps me quite warm.

Main Course
Describe your hands.

On my left hand I have a band-aid that's covering a spot where I sliced a chunk of my finger when I tried to cut some turkey off the bird for a sandwich. I don't wear rings, and I really need a manicure.

Dessert
If you could eat only one nut for the rest of your life, what nut would you pick?

Cashews. Love those things! Do I have to share?
