STITCHY STUFF
Last week, I *maybe* got about 10 stitches total in on ABC Lessons. So, no pic (again). However, I was surprised when I learned my Flip Flops is being featured on the SNS2 homepage. Woo Hoo!

SCHOOL
The new semester started last week. My International Business instructor is 29 (and not looking forward to turning 30 this year, LOL). She's from a small town in Iowa and started studying abroad at 19. Now, she has TWO masters degrees and a pHD. She now lives with her husband in a small hick town southeast of where I live. I said to her "Why?!" It reminds her of home. Awww.
This week (already!) we have a 1-3 page paper due on an international news article. I worked on mine last night and emailed it to her. Oh, she's a treehugger :) so she wants everything as electronic as possible. By this morning when I woke up, she'd already graded it and sent it back to me! The paper isn't due until Thursday. How's that for efficiency?! I got 97% because of two grammatical errors. One of which I take issue with. Since I got an "A", I'm not going to argue it.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR!
Unbelievably, temps are supposed to get close to 80F by Thursday. Thunderstorms by the weekend. I'm thinking about getting out on the bike trail if the storms stay away.

Your yard looks great, good luck with your paper.
So nice to see your flowers showing up. We did not have one azalea bloom this year anywhere. Guess the cold killed them. Congrats on the A on your paper too! Maybe some stitching will sneak in soon for you.
I'm having trouble getting motivated to stitch, too, Meari--it must be spring fever!
Great job on your first paper! Your "flip-flops" stitch looks so cute, too :)
Glad the paper went well. I'm with you on the stitching - one minute I'm all over it, the next, it's days later and I've haven't touched it! Love the flowers - ahhh spring!
Good job on the paper Meari! Cute dog picture. How come your gardens look so much better than mine? Could it be because I never got them cleaned up last fall??? LOL!
Love, love, love the flowers. Our daffys are gone and the bluebonnets this year are nice, but nothing special. No roses, nothing right now.
Congrats on the paper and on the feature picture!
Congrads on your paper. Your garden patch will look super great with the flowers. Enjoy Spring!
Back to school aready! Yes, it is suppose to be 70 here today. I love sunshine.
Congrats on the paper! Love the dog pic!
Congrats on the 1st A of your new semester!
I wish our weather would make up it's mind here. We had really nice warm days for about a week and now it is gusting high winds and rain keeps coming and going. Connor has come down with a nasty cough & I seem to be getting no sleep. Oh joyous spring...
so jealous of your flowers!! :)
It's been feeling like spring here in CO too; low 80's yesterday, after 7" of snow last week....go figure!
You've started out your new course with your typical stellar performance....keep it up!
Congrats on the paper! Sounds like it will be a busy semester. Hope you have a wonderful Easter.
Congratulations on your paper and also having your stitching featured on a homepage!
Sounds like you are keeping busy and staying out of trouble.
Darn! LOL
Next time take a photo of Celeste in costume. :) :)
Congrats on your paper.
Happy Easter Weekend!
I am so jealous of your spring... Here everything is still frozen, but days are getting much longer. Yesterday I noticed that at 10 PM wasn't very dark yet (smile).
Congrats on the great mark!
Congrats on doing so well on your paper, what a great way to start the semester. Congrats too on doing so well last semester. Spring is starting to show here as well with grass turning green and some flowers starting to show, some of the daffidils have even started to bloom. So nice to see after the cold gloomy winter we had.
