Nuttin' But Stitchin'

Normally, I'm not one to stitch up projects and then stick them in a drawer.  I did have this one that I stitched in 2008.  I finished it into a dimensional flat ornament with handmade cording.

Sing Noel
Stitched: 12/14/08  Time: 3Hrs
Designer: Primrose Needleworks
Fabric: 18ct Seafoam Green Aida
Fibers: GAST, DMC Color Variations, The Dye Shop
Embellishments: Handmade cording w/DMC 321 & 815

I finished Part 2 of the Summer Mystery SAL designed by By The Bay Needleart.

I worked on Fleurs et Papillons.  I finished the top center floral arrangement and the second butterfly.  The top lace is almost finished.  I think I'm going to continue working on it again this week so I can finish Part 2.

I really like the way you finished the Noel ornament. I have not seen that finish before, but I really like it. I hope it would be okay if I stole, I mean learn from your idea and use it myself??

You've inspired me to get started on my By the Bay mystery stitch! Yours is soooo pretty! I've changed the floral colors (think you did too) to warmer orange colors.

Love your FdeP, and the colors you've chosen are wonderful. I really liked Purple Garden, but it's the only Angie Designer I've ever liked. I'm not a "frilly" person, but I do appreciate the beauty of yours and others' stitching of such. Great job!

Lovely stitching. I'm still trying to figure out how to print part 2 of the By the Bay sampler. LOL!

Guess it was worth leaving the 'Noel' for the finishing, it looks wonderful, as does all your stitching.

Judging by the amount of stitching and finishing you've accomplished, I'm hoping your shoulder has healed completely?

Love how you had the Noel ornament finished. Your SALs are coming along beautifully.

Hugs,
Veronica.

Awesome stitching and great progress on your WIPs! Do you use any tools when you make your cording?

Love your dimensional finish Meari! I think I might have to copy it! Your WIPS are looking great! Not much stitching is happening around here so I need to live vicariously through others right now!
