Since I was still feeling under the weather, I decided to stay home for Thanksgiving. I watched Macy's parade on TV, and finished up my group project for school. I am feeling MUCH better now. The fever and sore throat are gone, and I only have a bit of chest congestion and cough.
SCHOOL
Next week is the last week of the semester! Woo Hoo!! Can you believe registration for the new semester started last week? I had planned on taking Corporate Finance in the semester I'm in now, but since I started J2, I dropped the class because I didn't think I could handle a full courseload -and- work two jobs. So guess what I'm taking this next semester???
The best part is that I bought the textbook last semester so I won't be needing to buy it this semester :)

STITCHY STUFF
I haven't heard yet if either of the recipients have received their packages, so I still can't show pics. I did do a bit of stitching on TMQ. Not much, but a little:

Good thinking getting the book before class starts then you don't have to scramble. Sorry you were sick over Thanksgiving.
That is never fun being sick over the holidays, reminds me of Christmas 12 years ago in my house when me and hubby and son all had a nasty stomach flu. You sure have been keeping busy with school, keep up the good work!
Hey Meari -
Glad to hear that you are feeling better and that school is almost finished. Have a a great day.

I received the ornie on saturday and just posted to HOE. Thanks for a great stitching job! It has a prominent place on our tree.

Bummer about being sick for Thanksgiving, but I'm sure the other people appreciated not be exposed to the crud. I know you are counting down the classes until graduation!
Sorry you were sick during the holiday. Hope you're fully recovered in no time.
Have you considered renting textbooks? My daughter just found out about chegg.com last semester and it has saved us a fortune already.
Great progress on your afghan.
Sorry to hear that you were ill over Thanksgiving - hope you are feeling better now.
Corporate Finance isn't too bad, unless you have a mean instructor that makes you memorize the formulas. Concepts, yes...formulas, no...that's what Excel is for :) But it is best to take it alone or with less demanding classes.
