4 1/2 Hours of Stitching

and this is what my legs look like. I was wearing capris so the top part of my legs are pale white and below the knees are lobster red.

It was an afternoon "play day" for my firm so I sat poolside in a lounge chair enjoying strawberry daquaris and stitching, while a few coworkers read books.

Today, I can't even stand without being in pain. The bottle of Aloe has become my new best friend. Can you say "Ouchie"?

What did I stitch? I started stitching my June ornie for a SAL. Unfortunately, it has a combination of over-one and over-two... and I started stitching on 18ct aida. I've had to rework some of the design and have spent a lot of time frogging. Three times so far!

I had a visit from the frog yesterday as well. Hope he has hopped away for a nap now.

oh my sympathies are with you - been there, done that - being of the Scottish persuasion and having scary white skin I am so used to it - just keep moisturising!!

Just wait until you have to put some real shoe on for work on Monday!! You can drink and stitch?? My hat is off to you, or maybe that's why the frogs came a visiting......

Oh, Meari, you poor dear! Keep the areas *well* moisturized and the peeling stage shouldn't be that bad. Three times? I say start over, lol. :-P

ouch! I know exactly how you feel. My upper back looks like a lobster from Strawberry picking & flower bed readiness!

I'm hurting just looking at your pic. Hope the creams help ease the pain. I'm not an outdoor person and this shows the reason why. ;D

Whhit vinegar works wonders on sunburn too. It takes the sting out fairly fast. Still need to moisturize too.

Sorry about the frogging.

Whoops! I'm still recovering from my boat burn several weekends ago. It was DARK red. I hope yours is feeling better by now.

OWWWWW!!! Being ridiculously fair myself, I'm usually pretty careful about the sun, but I've been caught unawares a few times and ended up suffering for it. I'm a big fan of anything with a "caine" in it, like Solarcaine, or the stuff Banana Boat makes with lidocaine in it.
