I actually finished this on July 23rd, but couldn't show it until now because it was a "secret" exchange. The theme for the exchange was "roses" and this is what I came up with:
Rose Garland (Back)
Designer: Alma Lynne*
Fabric: 28ct Antique
White Evenweave
Fibers: DMC
Embellishments: Pearl Snaps,
Rose-print Lining Fabric
Date: 7/23/09

WOW...That is beautiful, glad it made it to it's new home, I'm sure she must love it.
Very nice mailart. I should try it someday. I'm glad it's cooling down where you live. We are warming up now. It feels like summer with hot and humid weather. I looked at the Japanese Garden WIP. It looks really nice so far. I was like oh this won't take too long to stitch and then I scrolled down to see the full item and saw it's a Martina Weber. Her mystery projects are beautiful but overwhelming. I have a few in my someday stash...lol.
Beautiful piece Meari !!
That is beautiful.

So pretty, glad it wasn't lost in limbo forever. CJ ok;-)
A very nice mailart. I like the way you finished it in the back. That is something I would like to eventually try also.

You actually sent it the snail mail way?? O my god, US and Malaysian postmen are very trustworthy!

It is really beautiful. I am a bit worried about my Rose MA. It has not still arrived to it's destination.
Beautiful work Meari. I'm glad it turned up safe and sound at it's new home.

Just lovely Meari!
Absolutely gorgeous mail art! So glad that it did not get eaten by the post monsters!!!
Beautiful Mail Art piece. Glad she finally got it, I'd have been so stressed wondering if it had been lost in the mail.

Meari your mailart is gorgeous and beautifully stitched. I hope to try mailart one day.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind comments.
Beautiful mailart, Meari! I don't quite have the guts to send a stitched piece through the postal system, but I might consider trying it some time...
