Here it is August and we're finally getting July weather. I think Mother Nature has been on hiatus. She made up for it this past weekend, though. We had HOT and HUMID weather along with severe thunderstorms. Yuck. Since the storms have passed through, temps have cooled down quite a bit and the humidity has lifted some.
STITCHY STUFF
Thanks to Daffycat, I found out the name of my "rescued" stitched piece.... Welcome All, a Dimensions kit.
One day last week, I decided to go to the park on my lunch hour....
For other stitchy "news", I put in a few more stitches on Japanese Garden. (Thanks, Nancy!) I have about 20 more before *one* of the over-one storks is done. Then I can move on to more enjoyable stitching! No updated pics yet, but other WIP pics can be seen HERE.

We're getting the hot weather, too - 101 today. But isn't the park always lovely, especially to sit and relax and stitch?
We had the storms come through and knock out power to a lot of people here. The crews have beeen working all night and are still not done. That is such a nice looking park, lucky you.
It warmed up over the weekend here. Hey that's the piece you just finished. LOL!
No weekend news?
Meari, those MA pictures are gorgeous. I can't belive they go through the mail without being torn up. I feel like I should get up and DO something now after reading your work on the armoire. It's beautiful!

Can you keep the hot/hazy/humod weather there please?
Your wips are looking good. I can't wait to see the fob finished.

Lovely WIP piccies and oh how I would like to be stitching in that park right now.......we have alot of drizzle right now!!
What a beautiful place to sit and stitch. I probably never would have gotten back to work LOL
Outside on a lunch hour? I would have too much sweat pouring down to do any stitching. But the park did look lovely.
I think the whole midwest was the hot and humid this weekend! I decided to power wash the sidewalk since I wouldn't care if I got wet! Glad I guilted you into JG, now I just need a WIP update to prove it! LOL Nice mailart and glad it showed up. Those overseas things really make me nervous!!!
Wow Meari - that kimono is so pretty!
It would be hard to only spend an hour there stitching!!!
