St-st-still Here

What a difference between yesterday morning and today. Yesterday morning, temps were 46F. This morning temps were -4F. The snow that was called for yesterday never materialized, but the heavy winds did!

I had a blazing fire going in the fireplace last night to take the chill out of the air. I just love the smell of burning wood, and the sounds of a crackling fire. I didn't realize just how cold and windy it was outside UNTIL I had to go get more wood for the fire. OMG... The wind about blew me over. And boy, was it c-c-cold.

Since I didn't have class, I took the opportunity to stitch the evening away. I was surprised that my shoulder only hurt a little so I kept going. I managed to stitch quite a bit of the border on my snowman RR. Another evening like last night and I should have it finished up. Then I can start on the snowman. Can't wait!

The winds howled... and yes, I mean howled... all night long. It got so bad that I ended up moving from my bedroom to the living room to get some sleep. Since I didn't sleep well, I was slow going this morning. :(

Glad you could get some stitching done. Hope the wind dies down soon and you can get a good nights sleep.

That's what it was like for us the night before. I thought I was going to freeze to death walking across the parking lot at school.

Lucky you to get all that stitching time:)

You must have shooed the wind over the Atlantic as it's really windy here in the UK today and pouring with rain too. Now can you send me some sunshine please?
