How do you choose a project for an exchange? Do you pick solely on what you know of the taste of the recipient or are there other reasons you pick the piece you do?When I'm involved in an exchange, I try to get a feel for what the other person likes and go from there, whether it's a particular designer or colors. So far it's worked out!

I agree. I HATE trying to wing it beccause I imagine everyone is as picky as me. I guess in reality that's why I don't do many exchanges anyway ... well that and full-time job, full-time master's studies, deploying husband, needy dog ... well you get the point!
