Ebay Stashing!

It all started out so innocently. I clicked on an auction for a scissor fob that had a $1.99 starting price. I emailed the seller to ask what the wording on the fob said. She offered to do a "Buy It Now" at $1.99 + shipping, if I wanted it. Then I did the unthinkable: I clicked on "Sellers Other Auctions". What did I see there?? My oh, my! There were other things that caught my eye. I emailed her and asked if she would do a "Buy It Now" on a couple other items. We worked out the terms and here's what I got!!!

Whitmans Vintage Red
Sewing Set
Chart & tin $15 with shipping
(Retail: $16.25 not including shipping)

Whitmans Sewing Set with
Cloisonne 1930's Replica Tin
& Wynnewood Tin
Chart & Tins $12 with shipping
(Retail: $16.50 not including shipping)

Flowers of Friendship Fob
by The Needle's Content
Chart $1.99 with shipping
(Retail: $6 not including shipping)

I can't wait until I get these so I can start one!! (Like I don't have enough stash-to-do!!)

Isn't it awful, how eBay can just reach through your computer screen & grab you in??? *lol* Great stashing you did - especially the fob!

Have you gotten any results yet from your dr & all the blood draws?

Oh - LOVE your response (well, both of them, actually *lol*) to your neighbor! Sad, how some people just have to try to control everyone else ... keep to the upper road & your sense of humor.

Enjoy your stash. I stay away from e bay I know I would get carried away! Just a comment on your needle post. I only use one needle per a project too. I'd get confused if I had more than that!

Ha, ha, ha. One of my earliest posts was about my Ebay addiction.

http://threadsofdesire.blogspot.com/2007/02/ebay-addiction.html

But I may be cured. I just "watched" two auctions (for a kit and threads) and then forgot the time and didn't get back to them before they were ended. That's one way to Ebay without spending any money.

But sometimes, like your new stash, you find things on Ebay that you would never find in an LNS or even a INS. Congratulations on some great stash.

Great eBay-ing!!! those tins are just so lovely. I think I now WANT the 2 I don't have - poo! I'll have to add them to my wish list!!!

btw - did the tins come with chokkies still inside? Mine did but the expiry date was way old so I threw them away - the kids wanted to eat them anyway so they thought I was very mean!
