After being on backorder for 3 months, it finally arrived. Btw, don't EVER order anything from i-kitchen.com! I had to call and call and call about my order. The last 3 times I called, I got the runaround as to when the item would be shipped. Each time they told me a week. Normally, I wouldn't care if the item was on backorder, but 1) They took my money out of paypal immediately, which meant they had my cash for 3 months! 2) They kept giving me the runaround as to when the item was actually being shipped.
Anyway, here it is... The Steamboy Steam Mop.
The water tank holds 3 cups of cold water. I used ONLY 1 3/4 c. to do my kitchen floor. No chemicals whatsoever. The floor was just as clean or cleaner than using a regular mop, and there was less time for the floor to dry.
After reading good reviews about steam mops and how well they clean, I was still a little skeptical, but I took the plunge anyway. I am clearly happy with how it works.
Here's what the cleaning pad looked like when I was done:
Nasty!!! It's made of the microfiber cloth and is machine washable. The mop came with two so while one is in the wash, I can be using the other. I may order a couple more, just to have on hand.

My parents had one of those machines and they loved it. The only real problem was it didn't get the corners real well but otherwise it was great.
I've been using a similar one for about four years. The only problem with it is that there is a filter at the top that is no longer available. Some day soon I will need to replace the entire machine.
Now I'm intrigued.... off to webcrawl and find the best prices!
Very cool. I love any kind of gadgety device, so this is right up my alley...
I got my steam mop about 18 months ago and it is my fav. cleaning tool. Best investment I ever made. With mine I just stitched some old cloth nappies together to make spare cleaning pads for the bottom. Worked really well.
Oh yeah, baby, I need to get one of those! :D
Wow!! I'm off with Jenn to find one of these for me!
Cool! I need to look into getting one of these. We could put it to good use here.
You are a braver woman than I, showing the 'after' shot from floor cleaning! LOL!!!
looks like something I NEED!!!! Does it work on laminate floors?!?!
Sounds like a good product, do you know if it works well on wood floors?
